Leverage On Long Tail Keywords When Researching The Market
There are a lot of approaches to make a living on the web. However no matter which path you decide on, it all begins with market research. You need to locate a group of buyers who have a typical difficulty or need. Then all you have to do is sell them things that answer the difficulty or meet the need.Market research can be broken down into two elements - discovering a profitable niche along with finding long tail keywords inside of that niche. The best part is that there are lots of no cost tools out there for you to do this. Some of the best tools are made available by Google itself. And so the first thing to do is register for an account with Google. After you have done that, visit Google's search-based keyword tool at www.Google.com/sktool. Enter the words 'buy, purchase, order, get' (without quotation marks) into the search area. The sktool will list out 800 phrases or terms that include these buying key phrases together with other valuable data like amount of competition, queries per month and so on. All you need to do is choose the term that you believe is most suitable for yourself, preferably one that provides not less than 2,500 searches every month.
After that, click on the icon that looks like a magnifying glass beside the search term that you have chosen. This will take you to Google Insights for Search, another no cost resource from Google at www.Google.com/insights. It will rapidly lookup the term that you have selected and generate the relevant data at Google insights. Scroll down to the lower area of the page and you will see additional similar search terms. Take note of all the related search phrases that you find.
Now you would likely have got about 10 buying keyword terms in a selected market. This basically suggests that there are actually people searching for advice to remedy a problem or meet a need in this niche. Following that, you will need to investigate more into how large a market this niche is and get extra search term ideas.
Go to amazon.com, ebay.com, magazines.com and clickbank.com. Enter the major keyword of the niche into the search area and see if there are products that are listed in these websites inside of this particular niche. Chances are you will come across products in just about all these websites pertaining to your niche. Briefly examine some of the products for ideas - both search phrase ideas and product or service ideas. The next stage is to uncover long tail keywords.
To do this, head to Google's external keyword tool at https://adwords.Google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal. Put in your 10 keywords and it will generate a listing of relevant keywords. Take note of the keyword phrases with no less than 3 words in them (long tail keywords) and also that generate at least 2,500 queries per month.
Now proceed to the Google search engine at www.Google.com and enter in the main keyword inside quote marks. As you are typing, Google will supply you with related search terms. Take note of the long tail keywords. Once you press the search button, Google will list out all of the websites relevant to your search phrase (this is called the SERP or Search Engine Results Page). Take note of the amount of websites displayed (it is listed at the top right hand corner of the page). You are targeting keywords having a maximum of 1,000,000 websites. If it is a great deal larger than 1 million, then the keyword is way too competitive. Carry out the same thing with each of the search terms that you have and go for those that have got less than 1 million competing websites.
For each of the search terms you type into Google, look at the bottom of the SERP and you will see extra suggested related keywords. Just click on them and you can get even more keywords. Drill down into the keywords as far as you can until you uncover long tail keywords with fewer than 1 million competing websites.
If you have performed your market research good enough, you will now have found a niche that includes ready buyers along with the long tail keywords (roughly 10 will do) that they use in order to search in the search engine for advice on a product to buy. The subsequent phase would be Product or service Researching and Creation which will be discussed in the next article.
